RICHARD DAVIES

Richard Davies is a Senior Adviser in the Public Law Group at New Zealand's Ministry of Justice. Richard is primarily responsible for policy advice on legal aid matters and administration of the Legal Services Act 2000, but also provides policy advice on matters affecting the efficiency of courts and the public’s access to justice, court structures, court procedures, tribunals, lawyers, roles/powers of the judiciary, JPs and court fees. Richard has worked in the public service for the last seven years, after completing degrees in law and commerce.
