Guo Jie

Guo Jie is a Research Fellow and has been a Project Official at the Legal Aid Center of M.O.J of China. As a formal Project Official, her responsibilities include participating in planning, negotiating and coordinating international cooperation projects and activities between the Center and donors such as UNDP China, IBJ and EU.

As a research fellow, she participated in a lot if legal aid research work. First, she organized a series of legal aid research actives and wrote research reports and articles with Chinese legal aid work and foreign legal aid new development, such as, about the use of Chinese legal aid fund, the immigrant workers’ legal aid, the comparison of duty lawyers, the Canadian legal aid system, the legal aid quality mark of U.K.. Secondly, she participated in edited a series of legal aid books, such as about the immigrant workers’ legal aid and the China Legal Aid Year Annuls. Thirdly, she participated in the legislation work about Chinese legal aid, such the Lawyer Law, the Solid Waste Law and the Social Assistance Law (draft).

In 1999, she received her Master in Henan University. Then, she entered China University of Political Science and Law and received her Doctor of Juridical Science.
