Alison Hill

Alison is the Legal Services Agency’s Manager Policy and Development and is responsible for a range of areas including the organisation’s operational and strategic policy development, its research programme, and the development of law related education and information materials.

Alison joined the Agency in February 2009 after ten years with the Department for Courts and Ministry of Justice in a number of roles, most recently managing New Zealand’s restorative justice programme. Alison has had extensive engagement with community-based service providers, including Maori, as well as with providers or legal and other services in the justice sector.
