MICHELE LEERING
Michele Leering is currently a Community Leadership in Justice Fellow (Law Foundation of Ontario) at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Law in 1983 and has practiced poverty law exclusively at the Community Advocacy & Legal Centre in Belleville, Ontario, where she has also been Executive Director. Her research and practice interests include strategic and operational planning for access to justice, evaluation capacity-building and quality assurance, encouraging reflective practice and cross-pollination, supporting leadership development and organizational learning, and promoting community development, systemic advocacy and legal literacy approaches to service delivery. She is currently the part-time Project Manager for KnowledgeNOW, a knowledge management, networking and generation project for the 80 community legal clinics in Ontario.
