As co-organisers of the ‘Re-visioning Legal Aid in an Age of Austerity’ ILAG conference in Helsinki we are delighted that you will be joining us in June. We have been working towards the Conference since the Wellington International Conference in 2009, and are very pleased that it is now so close to fruition.
We have tried to put together a programme which covers the key challenges facing our respective jurisdictions and which will feed into policymaking in this field. The format of the Conference is designed to encourage informal discussions and we are looking forward to your attendance and contributions in Helsinki.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
A group booking, at a discounted rate, has been made at the Scandic Grand Marina Hotel in Helsinki. Click here for further information. The price of accommodation at the hotel, per room per night, is as follows:
A Standard Single Room - 121.70 Euros or A Twin or Double Room - 141.70 Euros
The prices include buffet breakfast and VAT. There is complimentary wireless internet connection in all rooms, as well as connection throughout other areas in the hotel. Delegates should pay the hotel direct when they are in Helsinki. If you wish a room reserved for you, it is vital that you inform Ms Eileen Ritchie of your arrival and departure dates as soon as possible and certainly by 25th May at the very latest. Standard check-in time is 2 pm and check-out time is 12 noon. Please let Ms Ritchie know if you are arriving earlier than 2 pm.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE
The 2011 ILAG Conference Registration fee is £200. This covers attendance at the conference, all lunches and dinners, as well as conference booklets containing conference papers and national reports.
